Miles and Kayla got a new car yesterday - a 2006 Chevy Malibu! They traded in their Santa Fe SUV for a smaller car. They had a lot of negative equity on the Santa Fe, and the price of gas is horrible - almost $4 a gallon now. So the new car will be much more economical -- and it's pretty cool too. Dylan was really excited when his mom called and said she had shiny new car for him.
Mike bought some home fireworks -- they're already on sale now, and Dylan was so excited. Lynzi and Aja were always scared of the noise, but Dylan was literally jumping up & down.

How fun for them! I knew gas in Oregon was more expensive but haven't you guys come down yet? I was able to buy gas for $2.95 at Costco. Still not a price I'm happy with but compared with the almost $3.40 from 3 weeks ago, I am happy.
