Dylan is having his second cleft lip surgery tomorrow morning. Shiner's did his first surgery when he was two years old, because Miles' insurance wouldn't cover it-they said it was "only cosmetic." They did a good job, but as Dylan has grown, his face has grown too. Even though you can barely see the cleft lip, you don't know for sure how it will affect him later in life. And now Miles has insurance that will cover his surgery. It's only minor surgery, and it certainly could be much worse, but still, it's scary for a little one to have surgery.
