Looks pretty good, doesn't it? They didn't have to do as much as they did in the first surgery, thank God. And he was so good! Kayla had prepared him for it, so he wasn't at all scared, except maybe right before they gave him the anashetic, he had a small "panic attack," but hey - adults are the same way before surgery, right?
The picture on the left, he's playing with one of the toy cars his mom & dad got for him as a "comfort" gift. He was pretty tired from the whole ordeal - the surgery itself only took about an hour, but he was at the hospital for about 4 hours total. But the doctors said he might not need any more surgeries. When you think about how bad cleft palates can be, you realize how lucky he is.
