Here's my oldest child with his kids. Aren't they beautiful? Mike looks better than he has in years! It was taken last week, just before he had to go to a funeral. But he looked so nice, I had to take his picture with the girls. I heard that he stood up and told a funny story about the lady who died, and then also told about how she had helped him last year when he was falling apart, even though she had just found out she was dying. Miles said he did a really nice job speaking.

Michelle, thanks for your kind words-and for visiting my blog too! No one ever comments on mine either, so I was really excited to find one from you. Guess I'm kinda pathetic, too. LOL. My son Mike has been going through a divorce. We all thought they were so happy, but she started cheating on him and it tore him apart. He started drinking so much, he lost his job, and started having seizures! On the weekend of the 4th of July, he checked into a motel and drank nearly a gallon of whiskey in two days. A couple days later, he had a bad seizure and scared us all to death. (Thank God, his girls didn't see it.) But it seems to have been a wake-up call, and he hasn't drank since. That's what I meant by saying he looked so much better. And arent' his daughters (my granddaughters) beautiful! The blonde girl on his right, Aja, gave me the name grannielinda and now all 3 of them call me that. Again, thanks for writing, and for asking about my son.
